Lovely French run village bar which serves excellent food

Visited for a lleisurely lunch with friends. Sat on the front terrace which is at a crossroads in the village. The village is really pretty. Nice warm welcome. We had their plat du jour and everything was really tasty (Greek salad starter, beef Raghu with Orzo Pasta, Fresh Fruit Salad, Coffee). Great value, good service and friendly staff. We would definitely return here.

A fantastic restaurant serving excellent food in the heart of a pretty village…such a great find. We stopped by after a walk one day for a delicious lunch, and subsequently booked for the following Sunday…amazing food cooked to perfection all served by a very friendly lady. We have since recommended Chez Jules to others and will definitely be returning when we are next in France.

Situated in the heart of the village, this simply but wonderful laid of bar / restaurant is run by a lovely couple, who create an amazing set of courses We went for the decouverte menu, starter, mains and dessert . We were treated to an amazing mis en boucle which included a toffee apple tomato. The meal was fantastic with Leffe and some nice Rosè and we were treated to a Richard at the end Very amiable and convivial place to while the afternoon away

I have been eating and drinking at Chez Jules for over 18 years, regularly, and I have never had a bad experience. In fact, every meal I have had has been superb. I have eaten their lunches during the week, lunch on Sunday and evening meals, and every time the food is delicious and very good value for money. The service is always excellent and the owners, Sandrine & Stephan, always take good care to ensure our experience is enjoyable. A very friendly bar and restaurant!

Christmas eve 2021 Chez Jules produced an excellent 3 course set meal, salmon starter which not only looked amazing but tasted amazing, a chicken main course and a delicious roulade desert finished off a quality meal.

We booked the day before and asked for a vegetarian option for the 4 course ‘plat de jour’. The lady was extremely helpful and allowed us to take our whippet along too, as she is a small dog. The meal was delicious and astounding value for money.
